Saturday, wet and cold. The walk around town was nice because most of it was inside the shops in Ross. Hamish, Mum, and I all went and bought things. Hamish bought a pair of warm gloves, Mum got a wine glass, and I got a tube of lip gloss hand made in Ross.
The weather forced us to do the walk inside and look in the shops. The museum is where we got a map with numbers and what the buildings are and their history. The first shop was where I got my lip gloss. It was $6 and Mum got her wine glass. It came with a free Mentos and was where Hamish got his warm gloves.
When we were done at the main shops we went to the lolly shop to buy the nice sweets that they had on offer. When we finally chose our decision was a huge lollipop and a strawberry whistle. The amount was $3 each so $6 dollars all together.
When we got back home we ate our whistle. Mum and Dad loved the noise! The next day we got to eat the huge rainbow lollipop. It was delicious and it lasted at least an one hour. When I was nearly done the lollipop stick came alive and we had a big conversation about not eating or licking the stick. Finally I failed to have any reasons and then the stick saw a eagle named Bob. And the stick dissolved into thin air. Bob and I had a marvelous time talking and posting letters.
Well, Heidi, I’m sure your Mum and Dad would have been pretty pleased with the lollipop you had, if it meant peace and quiet an hour!
Sounds as though you’re having a brilliant time.
Looking forward to your next story.

Very credible story – “Mum got a wine glass” got a few mentions 😂
I know! It’s true though, I got sick of using a plastic glass so spent a whole 20 cents on a glass glass. Paid for itself already.
