On Tuesday we moved from Murry bridge to Peterborough. We got up early a few days ago to go to SteamTown historic railway centre. We walked to the entrance and we crossed the rails. When we got there we booked a tour at the front desk and looked around the gift shop when the tour guide started our tour. It started down a short slope to the diesel shed. We went to the three gauges which were broad, narrow and standard. Next, we went to the diesil yard. We saw the only working train round about in the Southern Hemisphere. Then we went to the train scales. We looked through the double doors Into the workshop. Then we went and saw the car that ran on rails. Then we went to the diesel shed. We went under the steamtrains. There were two. One had big wheels and one had small. We went back up. The tour guide said we could go in the train. I tested the bell and of course it didn’t work. Then we went to the carriages. We saw old and new ones and some we went in. We went in a baby carriage that had a fake woman in it. We also went in the guard’s carriage. The guard might have gold of copper. Then we went to the last carriage that was shiny and had couches and stuff like that. The tour took two and a half hours and it was supposed to take one and a half. We then went to the diesel shed and had another walk around it. We went back to the cold tent.
