In the fruit bowl of Carnarvon which supplies 80% of Perth’s fruit all you could see, every direction you looked there were banana palms and tomato bushes, mango trees flowering their beautiful flowers.
We rocked up into our caravan park next to an orchard of bananas and tomatoes. We got a big, powered site near the end and we were on the top level by ourselves because the caravan park was laid out like a mine, and it had levels from ground level then to four levels up.
One day we went out on a tour that went from one shop selling fruit to another shop selling fruit and sometimes there were shops selling vegetables.
We ended up with 20 Bananas for $5, some pumpkin, cabbage, and mango ice-cream covered in chocolate for dad and no chocolate for me, Hamish had a banana covered in chocolate and mum had fig covered in chocolate.
We did some things around Carnarvon and ate our fresh fruit and vegetables.
We also went to the space museum, which was unexpected, but really good (they had some great old computer games to play there, like galaga).
