Ten walks in a day

Ten walks in a day

On Friday we moved from Strahan to Black River. On Saturday we went to Circular Head in Stanley. Circular head is part of a huge mountain called The Nut. We got to the top by chair lift. Up the top of The Nut was a path that had kiddie signs that give us activities along the way. After we did The Nut, we went on a historic walk around town. After we went to The Nut we went to a playground. At the playground we had lunch and an ice-cream.

The next day we went on ten walks. The first stop was at Bluff Point Lighthouse. The lighthouse was tall, skinny and had a beehive behind it.

The second walk was the Edge of the World. The Edge of the World had a rocky area and we had morning tea.

The third walk was Khannah bridge. Khannah bridge was where we had lunch and it had a rushing river.

The fourth place we went to was Samar lookout. Samar lookout was a short walk and had a view of the Arthur River.

The fifth area we went to was Julius River was a small area and had a river.

The sixth walk was a 30-minute walk that had a sinkhole.

The seventh walk Dempster Plains lookout was a 5-minute walk with a lookout on the end and had a grass called button grass.

The eighth walk was rapid river where you can see the rapids of the Arthur River.

The ninth place was Milkshake Hills was a 30-minute walk in the bush.

The tenth place was Taya tea Bridge a short area that had a old bridge over the Arthur River.

                                                                                         The end

  • Hi Hamish,
10 walks is a lot of walking! I would like to know if you had a milkshake at Milkshake Hills, and a cup of tea at Taya Tea Bridge.
