Trowunna Wildlife Sanctuary

Hello again, I am at Mole Creek, and we arrived at the campsite on Thursday.

On Monday we went to an animal zoo type thing and the first animal we saw was a tassie devil and it was so cute!

When we walked out of the shop, we went to a big sign that was a map and then we moved to the bare-nosed wombat [ they were the cutest thing in the world!] the next animal we saw was an eagle type thing, but they were injured and most of them had lost a wing and couldn’t take flight.

The next animal we went to a tassie devil and Hamish named them Devin number 2 and 3 because he already had a toy Devin1! We went to some more Devin’s and past the birds and now it was time for our guide the guide let us pat Wilna the wombat and it was like its fur was a small bit of wire but fluffy. Then she let us pat a tassie devil and fur was like patting a dog almost.

Then we went to the kangaroos and here is where the bag of food came in handy. But I was scared at first, but my mum gave me the encouragement and then I found one that liked me and at nearly all my food but then it was full finally! We had lunch then brought a slap band toy of a tassie tiger it was so soft, and it was so cuddly I named it Tilly! When we drove home, we picked up dad and then went to a honey farm and the favourite honey for both me and Hamish were chocolate! Goodbye until next time!
