Walking in Ross

Walking in Ross

In Ross Mum , Heidi and I went for a walk. Ross is an old European settlement in the middle of Tasmania.

On Saturday it was cold and rainy. It was the day we went around Ross.

Ross has a lot of European history and cool stuff to look at. Ross has a graveyard that we walked through and Ross has an old town hall.

The town hall was built in the early eighteenth century in convict times. Ross has three big churches.

One of the churches is my favorite place to look at because it has stained glass windows.

After we finished looking at the church we went back to the tent which has a warm shower, hot dinner and hot water bags. Tasmania is cold!!!

  • Those stained glass windows in the church look really lovely. Your Grandpa and I have been in a lot of churches since we’ve been in the UK and find them really interesting, as you obviously do.
Hope that flooding doesn’t get too close to your campsite. Those gloves you bought should help keep you warm. Have fun, and do a bit of school work just to make your Mum and Dad happy!

  • Sounds like you saw a lot of cool things in Ross. But the big question is, Did you meet anyone called Ross? 😂

    • If we did, we didn’t know it!
